What to Bring
What individual campers should bring
- your tent and sleeping bag
- warm bedding
- a cup, plate and spoon, etc.
- the costume you want to be wearing when you represent the climate movement at a public action
- any props, banners or action materials you want to have
- warm clothes
- sensible, moderately waterproof shoes
- your friends
- lots of love for your planet and fellow living creatures
and here are some more things to think about:
- if you want a chair, bring one
- a face-cloth etc (there will be no showers but some sponge-bathing)
- a torch
- rain gear
- a secret stash of yummy food for when you need it
- musical instruments
Things to bring to actions:
- water in a bottle
- snacks
- a pen and paper
- a book, if you're risking being arrested and want something to read at the copshop
- a total absence of illegal stuff or weapons
What Neighbourhoods Should Bring:
- cooking gear for as many people as your neighbourhood includes
- food for the first day
- tarps and ropes for making your neighbourhood nice to hang out in
- anything you need to create a fantastic contribution to the camp
- a first aid kit
- a big container of water if you're able to and maybe also
- any decorations you want to add to the site
- banners, props and action materials
- paint and banner materials
